Song of The Day #004
Description:
"A Sky Full of Stars" is a song recorded by British alternative rock band Coldplay, released on 2 May 2014 as the second single from their sixth studio album, Ghost Stories. The band co-wrote and co-produced the song with Swedish DJ/producer Avicii, with production assistance from Paul Epworth, Daniel Green, and Rik Simpson. The song title makes us ask "what does it mean?"; A sky full of stars is when everything beautiful reminds you of love, and love makes you see everything as beautiful. At first, Chris -the singer- describes his love with starlight "you're a sky... you light up the path.."As long as he has her beauty, that's enough. Then he sings that starlight reminds him of her, "In a sky full of stars I think I saw you...".
From this "heavenly view" Chris promises to remain with beauty all life long - "I want to die in your arms."
Coldplay has always produced songs with high-end meanings and this song is just a sample.
"A Sky Full of Stars", welcome as our fourth "Song of The Day"!
