STUFF OF THE DAY IS BEING ON HOLD

Stuff of The Day function is placed on hold until further notice. The reason behind this is that Nabheni Project V2.0 tasks are calling and I have to focus on them.

Description:

"Diamonds" is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna for her seventh studio album, Unapologetic (2012). It was written by Sia Furler together with its producers, Benny Blanco and StarGate. The song premiered on September 26, 2012, during the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and was digitally released the following day as the lead single from Unapologetic. Def Jam Recordings serviced the single to contemporary hit radio in the United States on October 2. "Diamonds" is a mid-tempo electronic and pop ballad. It features heavy synthesizers, orchestral sounds and electronic rhythms. The song's lyrics serve as a departure from the themes of unhealthy relationships that were on Rihanna's previous singles and contain a prominent concept of love.

Description:

"Space Bound" is a song by American rapper Eminem. It is the 10th track on his 2010 album, Recovery and was released as the fourth and final single from the album in February 2011. The song is produced by American hip-hop producer Jim Jonsin. "Space Bound" features samples of "Drive" by R.E.M. and "Song for Bob" by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
The song, similar in melody to “Love the Way You Lie,” expresses the rapper’s heartbreak over a breakup with a girl he thought was his true love.
The video, directed by Joseph Kahn, is violent and graphic at times and splits Eminem into two people: angry and mellow. The mellow, “lost puppy” Eminem becomes heartbroken after he finds his girlfriend cheating him. His knowledge of her cheating girlfriend pushes him over the edge.
Unlike most of his songs, Eminem seems like the weakest part on the song and he shows his listeners how much love had wronged him.
Courage and enthusiasm of Eminem in his songs is not something new, we all got used to it. So isn't it time to say welcome to Space bound as "Song of The Day" for the second of November.

Description:

‘Change Your Life’ is the latest single by the girl-band Little Mix, winners of the 2011 series of The X-Factor. It is a song that tells us an awful lot about ourselves. ‘Change, change your life, take it all’ the chorus commands, reminding us what we already know: our current life is insufficient, it lacks something. The song is an inspirational one however, as the swelling chords indicate, and it does not want to suggest that there is a problem with our identity – with who we really are. Our life may be lacking but we are not: this is the song’s message. For this reason, the command to ‘take it all’ is followed by the line ‘you’re gonna use it to become what you’ve always known’. ‘Taking it all’ is not consumption for its own sake: it is a means – perhaps our only means – of self-realisation. ‘Taking it all’ enables us to bring about change, and change is required, paradoxically, to become what we’ve always known.
The song inspired us and we're adding to the list as the seventh "Song of The Day" for the 1st of November 2014.

Description:

"Blame" is a song by Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris featuring English singer John Newman. It was released on 5 September 2014 as the third single from Harris' upcoming fourth studio album Motion.
John anthropomorphizes on his song the night to deal with his breakup more easily. According to him, the night might be responsible in two different ways:
1 - He caused the breakup out of tiredness, which can cause a bad temper.
2 - He wasn't tired, and this one day wenty particularly horrible, and he doesn't think the little slights leading to it matter. Although as the rest of the song reveals, he's switching between taking responsibility and deflecting it.
A super-awesome melody combined between Violin sound and the progressive Electro dubstep.
"Blame" booked its seat to be our today's "Sony of The Day" for the 31th of  October 2014.

Description:

"All of Me" is a song by American recording artist John Legend from his fourth studio album Love in the Future. Legend co-wrote the song with Toby Gad and co-produced it with Dave Tozer. The song is a dedication to Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen. "All of Me" impacted American mainstream urban radio as the album's third single on August 12, 2013. The song is considered as one of the most love songs ever composed. It is an admission that every relationship can have its issues and you can overcome them as long as you accept each other and give it your all. What John Legend wanted to say through his lyrics is that you should make someone your priority, make them your everything, and discover your happily ever after together. The song deserved to have more than 273 millions views on Youtube and it also deserves to be our today's "Song of The Day".

Description:

"A Sky Full of Stars" is a song recorded by British alternative rock band Coldplay, released on 2 May 2014 as the second single from their sixth studio album, Ghost Stories. The band co-wrote and co-produced the song with Swedish DJ/producer Avicii, with production assistance from Paul Epworth, Daniel Green, and Rik Simpson. The song title makes us ask "what does it mean?"; A sky full of stars is when everything beautiful reminds you of love, and love makes you see everything as beautiful. At first, Chris -the singer- describes his love with starlight "you're a sky... you light up the path.."
As long as he has her beauty, that's enough. Then he sings that starlight reminds him of her, "In a sky full of stars I think I saw you...".
From this "heavenly view" Chris promises to remain with beauty all life long - "I want to die in your arms."

Coldplay has always produced songs with high-end meanings and this song is just a sample.

"A Sky Full of Stars", welcome as our fourth "Song of The Day"!

Description:

"Beneath Your Beautiful" is a song by British singers Labrinth and Emeli Sandé. Written by Labrinth, Mike Posner and Sandé, it was released as the sixth single from Labrinth's debut album, Electronic Earth, on 18 October 2012. The track actually peaked at number one on the UK Single Charts, selling 108,000 in the first week of its release. Lyrics is what gives this song a special taste for the fans; Labrinth does put up a front because of getting hurt. The song points the gun on the issue between somebody who wants to enter into a romantic relationship with a girl  but she refuses to to do so because she, according to her experience, thinks that anyone she loves will hurt her. However, we shouldn't turn a blind eye on the the beautiful melodies and especially the wonderful performance and the beautiful sense of Labrinth and Emeli Sandé.
The song is quite old (had been published two years from now?) but she deserves to be today's "Song of the Day".
Hats off!
